I’m new around these parts. Although some of you may know me from other blogs around the Babble community. I have been on Being Pregnant, Baby’s First Year, and was one of the founding bloggers on Toddler Times.
Now? I am moving on up to the lovely Babble Kid.
I have a flock of kids, like… 42 of them, but seriously we are only a family of three. But once you throw in two dogs and a cat, it sort of feels like a circus big top.
I got two “big” kids, Camden and Benjamin who are (almost) 4 & 5, then their baby sister will be 2 in April.
We live in Connecticut right now, but are preparing to move across the country to the Sunshine state. That should be boat loads of fun, right?
I am a work-at-home mother, meaning I sit on the internet all day and really do nothing else. Right y’all? But in reality I run my own website, DanielleElwood.com and I am the managing editor of The Broad Side. Which is a rockin’ publication for women. I am also a PTA mom and involved in my local Democratic town committee (at least for the time being) which I think qualifies me as nearly certifiable.
I hope to get to know all the readers here!
Meet Camden 1 of 4This is Camden, he is our oldest son. Turned 5 this past December. He loves art, coloring, reading, Spider Man, and any Monster Truck on the market. He also has a soft spot for his baby sister. He will do anything she wants.
Meet Benjamin 2 of 4This is Benjamin. Ben, Benny, Jo Jo, Bubba... a boy of many names. He will be 4 in May, although he insists on telling everyone he is six years old. He enjoys his vegetables, and hates preschool. He loves Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. and Ironman. He is our loner child.
Meet Addison 3 of 4This is Addison, Addie, or Beeps. She has many names as well. She is the princess of the family, coming in at almost 2 years old. She enjoys long walks, baby dolls, and La La Loopsy's. She also is fond of shrieking at the top of her lungs. She has her Daddy wrapped around her pinky.
Meet Bella 4 of 4This is Bella, our new pitbull puppy. She is 11 weeks old and absolutely insane. The kids love her though. She annoys the crap out of our older dog who is partially blind. But who couldn't resist that face?
