As we’ve established before, I am a sucker for heartwarming videos. Pop me in front of a few videos of military personnel reuniting with their kids (or dogs, gah) and I’m a weepy mess.
Show me videos of kids with amazing spirit, who are involved in the fight of their lives, and you’ve pretty much guaranteed the ugly cry.
Which is exactly what happened when I saw the video that the Hemoncology Floor of Seattle Childrens Hosptial made. Led by patient Chris Rumble, the floor’s patients and staff did an amazing job of turning Kelly Clarkson’s song “Stronger” into an anthem of hope and determination for kids battling cancer.
