Thanksgiving Crafts for Preschoolers: Autumn place cards and cupcakes

Autumn Place Cards:

These darling place cards are so simple to make and perfect for the Thanksgiving table or any fall get together. Children will love both collecting leaves to use and creating a special place card for each family member.

Supplies:

Cardstock in fall colors, dry leaves collected from outside, white school glue or gluesticks, black permanent markers (for the adults)

How to:

Step 1: Cut cardstock 3×4 inches (or desired size) and fold in half.

Step 2: Glue one leaf to one side of each place card.

Step 3: Write guest name in marker (adult).

Easy Fall Cupcakes:

Cupcakes are fun at any time of year, and baking with your children is always something they enjoy. Candy corn is easy for little hands to decorate with and create their own festive Thanksgiving decorations!

Supplies:

Cupcakes (box mix is fine!), frosting, candy corn and other fall candy, sprinkles

How to:

Step 1: Pre-make cupcakes, cool and frost.

Step 2: With a covered work surface, or using a tray, allow children to decorate cupcakes with candy corn and sprinkles.
