When a parent goes to prison, children are frequently left behind. In the U.S. alone, more than 1.7 million children have at least one parent in incarceration, and studies show that children of inmates are up to seven times more likely to go to prison themselves. This Christian organization mobilizes individuals and church groups to provide holiday gifts to the children of inmates on their parents’ behalf. Angel Tree’s year-round programs include prison ministry, mentoring, and summer camp programs for the children of inmates. And to find out just how much of an impact the organization makes to those it serves, read the heartwarming personal accounts on Angel Tree Stories.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Foundation has made it more difficult to recieve help than it is get assistance from all of the government agencies combined! They want you to prove that you don’t have a man living with you. What should you do, invite them to come and look in your closets and cabinets like in the 1960′s and 70′s? they turned away a United States Veteran with three children. She had all of the necessary documentation, and they turned her away. Wow, GOD BLESS AMERICA!

The Angel Tree organization has made it more difficult for children to recieve gifts than all of the government agencies combined. they want you to prove that you dont have a man living in the house with you. How are you suppose to do that? Invite them to come in and look in your closets and cabinets like Public Aid did in the 1960′s and 70′s? they turned down a United States Veteran with three children that she is raising alone. This is how you treat the veterans who served our country? Wow, GOD BLESS AMERICA1
