10 Things I Miss About Being PregnantCarmen Ordonez
I was very fortunate to have had an extremely easy pregnancy. I had no morning sickness or crazy cravings, and I pretty much slept great all throughout my pregnancy. The other day, I was flipping through some pictures and came across some pregnancy photos. It’s only been 10 months since I gave birth, and dare I say it, I kinda miss being pregnant. There’s just something so amazing about being pregnant and knowing there’s life growing inside of you.
Here are 10 things I miss the most about being pregnant. Do you ever miss being pregnant, or were you counting down the days?
I Miss All the Attention 1 of 9
I miss all the attention I would get it not only from my family, but from complete strangers as well. From Target to the supermarket, random strangers would let me cut them in line just like that, all because I was pregnant!
I Miss Naps 2 of 9
Ahhh nap time. how sweet it was to take naps at random hours throughout the day. Sometimes I would even take three naps. It was the best. thing. ever.
I Miss Guilt-Free Eating 3 of 9
Sure, I'll have a Bandeja Paisa. Hey, I'm eating for two, right? So what if you're technically supposed to eat only 300 calories more a day.
I Miss Blaming Things On Baby Brain 4 of 9
I'm really forgetful as it is, but being pregnant just gave me something to blame it on. "Oh, it's baby brain."
I Miss Feeling the Baby Kicks 5 of 9
It was so sweet feeling my baby kick and knowing a little person was growing inside of me. It truly is amazing and the one thing I miss the most.
Not Worrying About My Clothes Size Going Up 6 of 9
I loved not worrying about my clothes size going up. So what if my jeans don't fit anymore? My baby is growing big and healthy.
I Miss Seeing My Body Change 7 of 9
I really enjoyed looking in the mirror and seeing my body change before my eyes. It was incredible being a part of the miracle of life.
I Miss Getting Out of Chores 8 of 9
At my house, we have a "chores calendar," but that quickly went down the drain once I hit my third trimester. My husband took over doing chores and banned me from lifting a finger.
