12 Scrumptious Mexican Recipes for Mexican Independence Day

Mexican Independence Day is just around the corner, and while September 16th is the big date, most families in México start celebrating with their favorite Mexican recipes on the evening of the 15th. To do it right, food and music are a must, and don’t forget kids’ favorites like lotería and other games.  I won’t be celebrating in México this year, but I’ll still be getting together with family and friends here in California to say, ¡Viva México!

Are you planning a big Mexican celebration? If you’re celebrating September 16th, or if you just want to have a Mexican fiesta, you are going to need lots of food to go with it. Here are 12 scrumptious Mexican recipes to try.

Enjoy!
