Me, share pictures of my baby on Facebook–no way! Leave the house without makeup, are you kidding me? Let’s just say there were many things I said I would never do as a new mom. After having my baby 8 months ago, those things quickly went down the drain.
Here are 9 things I said I would never do as a new mom, but totally do now.
Do you have any things you said you would never do?

I Wouldn’t Get Upset if My Dogs Woke Up the Baby 2 of 10
I remember specifically watching the movie Marley & Me and there's a scene when Jennifer Aniston gets upset when Marley wakes up the baby. I remember thinking to myself, I would NEVER get like that. Dogs are dogs, that's what they do—they bark. Fast forward to when my baby was just 2 months old, I was sleep deprived and had finally laid on the couch to get some shut eye while the baby napped. The Fedex guy came knocking on my door and my dogs went crazy barking and woke up the baby! I was soooo annoyed! Seriously Bear, did you really have to do that? Ugh!
I Wouldn’t Listen to My Mom’s Crazy Advice 3 of 10
My Latina mom has some weird advice when it comes to motherhood/parenting, like for example drinking a barley concoction would help with my milk letdown. I thought to myself, I would never listen to her crazy advice. But when I was 3 months postpartum and having a hard time producing milk the only thing on my mind was how can I get my hands on that barley drink—I'll try anything!
I Would Hate Becoming a Morning Person 4 of 10
I love sleeping in and thought I would never become a morning person. But it's so weird/amazing how your body works and just gets use to waking up early. It's like it knows that you have to get a job done. Nowadays I love waking up early. I'm also able to get so much more done in the day!
I Would Never Flood My Instagram with Picture of My Baby 5 of 10
When I didn't have a baby, I swore I would never become that mom that over shares pictures of her baby. Now I just can't help myself. He's just the darnest cutest thing and I want to share it with the world! Oh by the way, this is a picture of my little man (see what I mean!)
I Would Never Leave the House without Makeup 6 of 10
At a young age, my Colombian mom always stressed how important it is to leave the house dressing and looking sharp. You never know who you might run into she would say. I told myself that when I had a baby I would never leave the house without makeup. Seriously, who was I kidding!? I've had my share days of going sans makeup more than once.
I Would Never Carry a Baby On Board Sticker 7 of 10
I would look at these and think I would never carry one in my car. But after having a baby and all the wackadoos driving around, I would cover up my entire car in this sign if I could.
I Would Never Breastfeed in Public 8 of 10
I don't know why, but I would always say I would never breastfeed in public. I'm too shy I would say. Now, I not only applaud women who breastfeed in public, I'm also one of them. You go girl!
I Would Never Let the Dishes Pile Up in the Sink 9 of 10
I use to say I would never do this, but after having a baby sometimes there's just not enough hours in the day. Sometimes I don't get to the dishes until the evening and I try not to beat myself up for it.

I Would Never be that Person at Dinner Rushing to Eat 10 of 10
I use to watch parents at restaurants rushing to eat and would think why do they eat soooo fast. Now when I'm at a restaurant I sometimes can't help myself and eat like I'm in a hot dog eating contest! I want to be done eating quickly in case my baby decides to get fussy.
