In case you were hiding in a cave or have been way too busy to notice—this weekend is Mother’s Day! If you’re brain is now scrambling all over the place trying to figure out what to get the lovely lady in your life…just stop! There’s no need to worry. I’ve put together a list of five last-minute Mother’s Day gift ideas for you!
Of course you can just give her a gift card, flowers, or candy and be done with it. But, we all know that our moms deserve so much more! At least put a little effort into it and show the lady that you care. Is my attempt at guilting you working yet?
I know there are a million-and-one gift ideas out there, but these are my five favorite.
Maybe you have your own ideas you can share with us below?
D.I.Y.- Do it Yourself! 1 of 5
When we were kids, our moms loved it when we made stuff for them. Now here's your chance to do it again, but this time with a grown-up and stylish flair! My friend Kristen over at Glitter'N Glue has one of the best and most fabulous D.I.Y. blogs out there! Get inspired to make your mom a Button Brooch Necklace a la Anne Hathaway, a chic Rose Goldish (aka Copper) Wire LOVE Bracelet, or a pair of Gold Leaf Leopard Rainboots. Don't forget to add a "made by (insert your name here)" tag to your creation!

A Basket Full of her Favorite Goodies 2 of 5
No matter what your mom's hobby is or what she loves in life, I'm pretty sure you can fit it into a basket. Unless we're talking celebrity crushes, then you're on your own. Does your mom have a busy and hectic life? Why not put together a spa-inspired gift basket with body scrubs and bath salts? Put together something for the lovely gardner in your life with stylish gardening tools and accessories. Or if she's a foodie, why not put together a gourmet basket with her favorite foods and a tasty beverage? I'm really hoping my mom doesn't read this post, because I think this is what I'm going to do.

Go Tech! 3 of 5
Yes our moms are tech savvy! And they love the latest gadgets. Whether it's a cell phone, MP3 player, digital camera, or a tablet. If it's anything that could make their lives a little bit easier (and fun)—I think it's a win win situation. Today's gadgets are user-friendly too. And you can find them at any electronics store and most of your favorite retail stores.

Take Her on a Shopping Spree 4 of 5
Spend some time (and money) on your mom with a much-deserved shopping spree at one of her favorite department stores or shopping centers. Throw in lunch or brunch and she'll love you even more. OK, I can't make that promise, but at least she'll get to pick out what she really wants and spend time with you.

Frame It! 5 of 5
There's nothing better than sharing sweet and personal memories through photos. Find one of your favorite photos of you and your mom and frame it as a gift. Add a little style to the gift with an elaborate or vintage frame. Or you can go a step further and buy a digital frame already uploaded with your favorite photos.
