Fashion is always inspired by some thing, person, or place. Designers and brands are always reaching into their travels or personal experiences to help inspire trends and new designs. And it looks like Mexico is influencing fashion (again) with some very familiar textile prints.
Can I just tell you how cool it is for me to see Mexican culture inspiring fashion? I love it! OK…back to the post.
Whether it’s on a high-end designer dress, a pair of sandals, or a scarf; these textile prints have been around for a very long time. Many of you have probably seen them since you were a baby. I know I have. In fact, in the back of my mind, I’m thinking a few of these I have actually seen in Mexico for a lot cheaper. I’m just saying!
Not only are Mexican textile prints on trend, you might also see the Aztec print making its rounds. I will admit a few of these designs have caught my eye. In fact, I think there are some leggings that just might need to make their home in my closet. I’d rock them all year-round.
Are you a fan of Mexican textile prints? Which designs are your favorite?
