We kick ourselves all day for our “should haves” and then we lay down at night only to recount our mistakes and mull over how we could have done it better:
How I could have spent more time with my child instead of…
How I should have cleaned the house so my husband doesn’t have to walk over toys when he comes home from work.
How it probably wasn’t a good idea to give the kids hot dogs again, for the fifth time in a row.
How awful I felt when I snapped and YELLED at my precious child.
How I probably should have opened a bag of carrots and nibbled on those, instead of that bag of cookies.
How embarrassed I was when my child came into my room asking where all the clean socks are.
How my child lost tons of brain cells from all the TV he watched today.
How I should’ve offered to make that sick mom a meal, but didn’t.
If you can relate to any of these, remember this my sweet mama friend: Let go of today and make tomorrow beautiful! But guess what Not even tomorrow will you be SuperMama, but you will have another chance to make things right.
