Growing up, my grandmother and mother would always cook with cilantro, from using it in un ajiaco, which is a native Colombian dish, to garnishing empanadas to even making chimichurri sauce. It’s an herb that is packed with tons of flavor and has the magical effect of brightening up any dish. For some, it can also be an acquired taste, but it’s definitely one you should give a try. I personally love it and have started cooking with it more frequently.
