Have you started checking your list to see who’s been naughty or nice? This time of the year can get a bit crazy! Personally, I need to keep as many lists as possible so I don’t forget what I’ve done, what I still need to do, or who I need to buy for. Lists are a necessity for Christmas cards, gift shopping, thank you note sending, holiday meal planning and everything in between!

I love how simple, but festive, this printable Christmas gift shopping list is. And you can bet that it will get put to good use — either so you don’t make the same mistakes that I made OR so you can use to keep track of who gave you gifts so you can send them a thank-you note later.

I will be posting this up on my fridge and filling it in with my family members’ names. Then I will ask them to fill it in as they think of something they want. We try to make Christmas be about more than presents, but it’s always nice to open up a gift  you’ve been really wanting.

One Christmas, when we were first married, I didn’t tell my husband what I wanted for Christmas. I don’t know why I did that. I guess I hoped that he would know what to get his soulmate for Christmas. Boy was I wrong! I realized the hard way our husbands can’t read our mind, and that husbands, no matter how much they love us, do not always know what to get us.

So don’t take it personally and just have everyone in your family fill it out — including yourself.
