The Big Game is around the corner. I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge football fan (ask anyone)! So, when I found out about a collaboration that would bring my world’s of fashion and football together, I was a little too excited.

And if you’ve ever wondered what would happen when fashion and football collide, than you’re in luck. Because, what you get is a beautifully creative work of art for a great cause.

Bloomingdale’s, the National Football League (NFL) and The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), have teamed up to auction off 48 one-of-a-kind helmets to support the NFL Foundation.

These helmets have been personally customized by designers like Betsey Johnson, Cynthia Rowley, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Mark Badgley and James Mischka for Badgley Mischka,  and Vince Camuto to name a few. You can view all 48 helmets here and even bid on a helmet if you’d like!

I put together a gallery of some of my favorite helmets below.

Bloomingdale's gets in on the football helmet action by showing off their love for New York City! Plus, they made sure to include their trademark black and white floor tiles. Very urban chic!

    Marchesa

One of my all-time favorite design teams, Marchesa, brings us an elegantly dark helmet design. Just like their dramatic and beautiful dresses, this design includes beading, and what looks like tulle.
