The warm winter has had an impact on more than just the lack of snow days and expected proliferation of insects making their way to us this summer. Oddly enough, it has also affected shopping.

Some items are discounted simply because of the change of climate this year as well as the world events. And some of the greatest deals out there simply take place this time of year, regardless.

    You can usually find deals on cruises normally in April, but this year the savings are even greater. Currently, this year's cruise prices are 11% cheaper than they were in 2011.

    Like office furniture, there will be some deals on barbecue grills now, but possibly even more as we approach May and June. There are usually some good deals around Memorial Day weekend, but know your prices and start now because a sales sign isn't always synonymous with savings.

    The dip in office furniture starts now in April but many experts believe the prices will slash further in May and June. It's a good time now to start researching items you want and familiarizing yourself with the prices, keeping an eye out for the day(s) prices dip low.
