12 Quotes on Love and Relationships from Irish Writers

The Irish were quite wise when it came to matters of the heart. While some of their quotes were quite cynical, there are quite a few that suggest that they were romantics, searching for more in life than just a fictitious pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. They wanted love, companionship, and to give of themselves — of their hearts. And if you ask me all of those things require more than just a little bit of good luck. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day here are 12 quotes on love and relationships from Irish writers.
