13 Celebrity Moms We Hope Start Mom Blogs

I'm laughing with you girl, not at ya.

Wait a sec! Yes, I know that’s J-Simps in the picture there on the left; hear me out!

Last week I whined about dying a little inside every time a celebrity mom launches a blog on 13 Celebrity Moms We Hope Never Start Mom Blogs.

With a heavy heart I’ll admit I have two regrets with that post:

1) I didn’t include Courtney Love (boo, hiss)

2) I included Whitney Houston (ugh, heartbroken)

For every celebrity mom out there engaged in ridiculous shenanigans, there are those celebrity moms we just love to love and wouldn’t mind hearing more from regularly.

Who do we love? Ch-ch-check ‘em out and let us know if you agree in the comments below!

"But it's almost like I don't even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose."
~Nicole Richie on the birth of her daughter Harlow

My, how motherhood has changed Nicole Richie. Her effortlessly chic style remains comfortable without the use of yoga pants. Imagine! Nicole, we need you.
  • Amy Poehler 2 of 13
    Amy Poehler
"Always remember your kid's name. Always remember where you put your kid. Don't let your kid drive until their feet can reach the pedals. Use the right size diapers…for yourself. And, when in doubt, make funny faces."
    ~Amy Poehler

    Yes! More please! And daily!
  • Michelle Obama 3 of 13
    Michelle Obama
"Like any mother, I am just hoping that I don't mess them up."
    ~First Lady, Michelle Obama

We like that she's worried about messing up as a mother because if she's worried, then we have every right to be worried! From her "Let's move" campaign to combat childhood obesity to her personal commitment to fostering family values, Michelle Obama is a mother to respect and admire.
  • Kate Winslet 4 of 13
    Kate Winslet
"I like being in the city. I like the diversity that my children are exposed to every day. I love the way their brains work. Joe turns to me the other day and says 'One day I will have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, darling. Which would you prefer?' And I said 'My Love, that would be entirely up to you, and it doesn't make any difference to me.' But that he knows! It's a real privilege. Talk about the best education."
    ~Kate Winslet

How do we love Kate Winslet? It's simply impossible to count the ways. Let's all agree Kate's amazing talent, tolerance, and gorgeously real female bod is the stuff girl crushes are made of.
  • Jennifer Garner 5 of 13
    Jennifer Garner
"You identify with your career then become a mom and put everything you have into the happiness of those kids. And though I wouldn't change it for anything, you lose part of yourself."
    ~Jennifer Garner on motherhood

While I suspect someone out there is offended by this statement, I applaud Jennifer's honesty for saying out loud what we all know to be true. Jennifer, start a mom blog so we can all be mommy friends with you!
  • Khloe Kardashian 6 of 13
    Khloe Kardashian
"Kourtney made it look easy, but I don't believe it. I'm scared of the epidural needle in my back!...I'm scared of gaining weight and not being able to lose it after...Mason is so good, he never cries! I don't think that could happen twice in the family!"
~Khloe Kardashian on her fears about motherhood

OK, OK, I know Khloe isn't a mom yet but she's working on it and we'd all love to be part of her online TTC journey. I think we'd find Khloe's take on motherhood to be refreshingly entertaining and filled with heart.
  • Tina Fey 7 of 13
    Tina Fey
"-Go to the bathroom a lot
-Take 90-minute showers. (If you only shower every three or four days, it will be easier to get away with this.)
-Say you're going to look for the diaper cream, then go into your child's room and just stand there until your spouse comes in and curtly says, ‘What are you doing?'
-‘Sleep when your baby sleeps.' Everyone knows this classic tip, but I say why stop there? Scream when your baby screams. Take Benadryl when your baby takes Benadryl. And walk around pantless when your baby walks around pantless."
~Tina Fey on how to carve out "me-time" as a mother

If Tina Fey started a blog with word vomit it'd be funny. The blogosphere needs your word vomit Tina.
  • Jennifer Hudson 8 of 13
    Jennifer Hudson
"I'm just loving being a mom!"
    ~Jennifer Hudson

She's inspired moms everywhere with her weight loss and exhibited grace and gratitude in the face of tragedy. There's just so much to love and learn from Jennifer.
  • Jessica Alba 9 of 13
    Jessica Alba
"Being a mom is the most profound experience I've ever had."
    ~Jessica Alba

Actress and entrepreneur, Jessica Alba recently launched The Honest Company with the mission to provide products that give children the safest and healthiest start. We like what you stand for Jessica; we want to learn more.
  • Gwen Stefani 10 of 13
    Gwen Stefani
"Being a mother is probably the most challenging thing I do."
    ~Gwen Stefani

If Gwen Stefani thinks motherhood is harder than earning her six-pack abs, then I love her today even more than I did in '96. Girlfriend, we Gwennabes want to know all your secrets!
  • Jessica Simpson 11 of 13
    Jessica Simpson
"I had a buttered Pop Tart this morning. I'm eating a lot of stuff that I ate in my childhood. Kraft Mac n' Cheese, Pop Tarts, Cap'n Crunch. Everything's filled with sugar. I'm like, 'Yeah, I can do it. We'll worry about the rest afterwards.'"
    ~Jessica Simpson on pregnancy cravings

There's something refreshingly charming about mom-to-be Jessica Simpson. Call me crazy but I seriously want to experience first time motherhood all over again through her eyes.
  • Reese Witherspoon 12 of 13
    Reese Witherspoon
"I know it's corny, but being a parent to me is such a great privilege; that I get to chaperone these beautiful little souls through life. They astound me with their knowledge and their humor. Parenthood is not at all what I expected it to be. I thought you make little people in your image. But they are just nothing like me or their father [ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe]. They are their own individuals."
    ~Reese Witherspoon

Beautifully spoken and ever so true. Reese, we want in on the voodoo that you do.
  • Michelle Williams 13 of 13
    Michelle Williams
"It's an incredible experience and it's totally transformed me as a woman."
    ~Michelle Williams on motherhood

We've watched Michelle Williams transition into single motherhood with poise, grace, and old school wisdom. Sounds like the stuff of inspired blogging to me.
