Two-year-old Boy Goes Missing: Mom Left Him in Car Alone to Walk a Mile to Get GasSunny Chanel
Running out of gas is never convenient. And if you happen to have two little kids with you, it just makes matters more complicated. For one mom from Bellevue, Washington, on Sunday morning things went from just a hassle to horrible when the car she was driving with her two- and four-year-old kids ran out of gas. The nearest gas station was about a mile away, and the mom reportedly took her four-year-old daughter on the trek while leaving her two-year-old son buckled into his car seat alone. The car was apparently left unlocked. But when she returned, her son — Sky Metalwala — was nowhere to be seen.
The mom was gone for …… About an hour. The FBI has jumped on the case and is working alongside local police to try to locate the missing boy.
The boy is “of Indian and Caucasian descent, with brown eyes and dark hair,” according to police. He was reportedly last seen wearing a dark green hooded sweatshirt and blue and gray-striped pants.” The authorities are asking witnesses to call 911 if they see the missing boy.
Let’s hope he is found safe soon. Perhaps a passerby picked him since they found him alone in the car, and they’re just trying to find the parents to return him. That is certainly the best case scenario.
Would you ever leave your child in the car alone if you had to do something like walk a mile for gas?
