On Christmas Eve and on Christmas morning children everywhere will be tearing open their presents anxious to get to their Furbys, Lalaloopsy Dolls, and various high tech toys. But Christmas wasn’t always like this. There was a time when kids were thrilled to receive simpler toys like baby dolls, toy trains and the occasional BB gun.
We took a look back at many a Christmas past and at the happy and sometimes smiling faces of children opening their presents from the black and white film era of the 1930s up to the vivid kodachrome days of the 1980s.
