I’ve never seen an improv show in person. I’ve seen it done on television and heard accounts from those that have been in one and I think anyone who can do it is pretty talented. I have no comedic history despite my daughter (and myself thinking) I’m quite funny, well at least sometimes. But it appears that in order to do improv well you need to be able to think rather quickly, be able to go with the flow, and having a great sense of humor helps. These are all characteristics that might be beneficial in the relationship department as well.
A surprise improv proposal video on YouTube made me laugh and tear up. There’s no choreographed dance, music selection, sports arena or magic involved here. There is some laughter, excitement, and a sweet moment that starts with a guy on bended knee. Take a look at the video below. It’s a little over 7 minutes long yet worth watching until the end.
What do you think of this unique way to do a surprise proposal?
