Amazon Reviewers Take on 'Binders Full of Women' Meme

I love the Internet. It’s a place where a meme can go viral within minutes of a politician uttering one oddly-turned phrase. And it’s a place where that meme can infiltrate every single nook and cranny of the online world. Case in point: the hilarious reviews of Avery binders suddenly popping up on Amazon.

Almost as soon as Veronica DeSouza created the Binders Full of Women Tumblr, people started posting deadpan reviews of Avery’s popular three-ring binders on Amazon. I’m talking about hundreds of reviews. Several people also uploaded the Tumblr photos as “customer images.”

As for me, assuming my husband gives me the okay, I’m going to buy a binder and also some of those Bic Pens “For Her” so that I can doodle hearts ‘n’ stars ‘n’ things on the cover.

This review would have been longer, but those sandwiches aren't going to make themselves, you know.

This user probably needs to upgrade to a binder with locking rings.

This user notes that the binder costs only 72% of the masculine version.

No more random stacks of women cluttering up your office!

This forward-thinking user brings up an excellent solution for the businessman on the go.

If I'm going to be in a binder, I might as well be organizing my recipes at the same time.

I'm crying laughing at the last line.

Don't worry! You don't actually have to hire any of them.

For the really elite businessman, offshore accounts are the safest place to store your women.

Well, those binders are rather confusing. Just like reading maps, math, and working in government. Apparently.

You could try putting them in a crate on top of your car.

Don't forget to include a tab for the disabled.

I bet there are extreme couponers hoarding hundreds of binders full of women in their basements.

There is no room in her binder for funny.
What with all the recipe cards and coupons for cat food, there is absolutely no room left over for funny in this woman's binder. Besides, who let all those women have access to the Internet in the first place? Get back in your binders, ladies!

Buyers should be aware that the women are not included with this product. You have to find your own. And good luck with that! You might want to try some "women's groups," such as your local PTA bake sale table, your wife's book club, or possibly the Ladies' Auxiliary of your local community hospital.

(Avery 2-inch binder available on Amazon.com, $8.69)
