Awesome Acts of Geekery: Nintendo History Using 30,000 Dominoes

Now this is an awesome sort of 15-year-old. No, he’s not trying to get the over age crowd to buy him beer at the 7/11.  He’s not chasing after that girl who ignores him in 5th period. He’s not just merely sitting around playing video games. No, this 15-year-old “professional domino-ist” pays homage to said video games in the coolest way possible — by capturing the rich history of Nintendo in three minutes using 30,000 dominoes (via Mashable).

It’s an amazing feat. One that is not for the faint of heart, impatient or the clumsy. The effort, the expertise, the detail that goes into organizing, arranging and setting up that many dominoes in so many Nintendo iconic images is dizzying. It’s pretty amazing.
