"I had a bridesmaid decide NOT TO SHOW UP which left me an absolute raging lunatic, swearing like a Jersey Shore cast member at anyone and everyone around me while I had my makeup done. (Including my poor soon to be mother-in-law, she must have wondered what her son ever saw in me.)"

ok, I don’t know if this counts as funny but here it goes… At the rehearsal (the day before and the middle of August) the AC in the fellowship hall breaks and we have to call the church down the road to see if we can use theirs the next day (the graciously allowed). The day of my hair dresser never shows up and we had to steal bobby bins out of my junior bridesmaids hair to do mine (not enough time to run to a store). The power went out when I went to get my hair done….and didn’t come back on till right before I walked down the aisle (I was wearing a long-sleeve dress and the men in the wedding party were wearing long-sleeve shirts) When we got to the reception the icing on my cakes had melted due to the power being out. My bridesmaids and the groomsmen for got to buy anything to decorate the car with; so they used dish-soap and coffee. No one wanted to catch the garter or the bouquet everyone actually ran away instead of for them. After the reception my husband took the car to the car wash and discovered there was a chunk missing out of one of the tires so we had to stop at Walmart and spend four hours waiting on a new tire. Now I’m not going to go into all the terrible stuff that happened on the honeymoon. Although I will say, we’re still married four years latter with a cute little 8 month old.
