My best beauty tip is to lightly sprinkle baby powder on greasy roots. Just make sure you brush well after!

  2. Michelle Joiner says:

My best beauty tip is to rub some Aquaphor healing ointment on your feet at bedtime and put socks on. In the morning your feet are so soft!

  3. Courtney Denelsbeck says:

My best beauty tip is to let yourself get plenty of beauty sleep (and naps) whenever you can :)

  4. Katie Johnson says:

My best beauty tip is to apply dry shampoo to day old hair then blow dry the roots using a round brush. The mix of the dry shampoo and the natural oil will have the same benefits as a volumizer so you’ll get an extra day out of your blow-out and have major volume. A real time saver for new moms!

  5. Patricia Hayes says:

I am always running late, and by the time I get to bed, I am exhausted. I love to keep make-up remover wipes on my bedside table for those nights where I just cant get it together and wash my face. I also keep a mini moisturizer close by, for when my face starts feeling dry. Having it on hand, my skin stays clear which is a feat living in the cold!

  6. Michelle says:

I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://bit.ly/grab2036

  7. Arely Colin says:

    drink a lot of water

  8. Elisabeth Good says:

My best beauty tip is to always moisturize, preferably with something that has SPF in it. My Mom has always told me to moisturize and she is in her 50′s with no wrinkles! Needless to say I try to follow Mom’s advice. :)

  9. Colleen Crumlish Leader says:

My Mom Mom looks amazing {she’s 85}. I always wondered how she always looked so good all the time. It made me giggle b/c the more I thought about it she never really wore makeup and I never really saw her or heard her talk about her “beauty routine”. I saw this and decided to call her to find out her secret. After she was done laughing {she thinks the internet is too invasive} she said she only did the 1 thing her mom always told her to do…be happy. Look at all the good in your life {6 children, 30 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren}. Too many people worry about the things they don’t have {bigger house, more $, …} and can’t appreciate what they do have. When you are happy on the inside it shows on the outside. I can honestly say she is proof that it’s true and if I can look and feel 1/2 as good as my Mom Mom when I am 85 ~ I’ll be smokin!

  10. Jen Pelto says:

Absolute best beauty tip: Discover the ONE thing that you can easily do yourself that you believe makes you look stunning, and try to commit to doing that one thing everyday. It could be a quick sweep of mascara, lining your eyes, dabbing on a little blush — the sky is the limit! In a rush, be sure to do just that one thing and you can rest assure that you look great throughout your day!

  11. Tara Hall Gabriel says:

To save shampoo and your hair only wash your scalp. The rest of your hair will get clean when the shampoo rinses through it. I should know, I’m a cosmetologist.

  12. Cheryl McCormack says:

The best beauty product that I use and is a must for me is Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm. It keeps my lips so smooth and tinted so I can kiss my two adorable boys and hubby. I am extremely blessed to have them in my life! :)

  13. Melanie Smith Flores says:

I think the most important beauty tip would be to get enough sleep. Without sleep no one is at their best physically, or mentally.

  14. Kelly Kaye Accettola says:

The best beauty product that I use would be sephoras liquid liner in black. I don’t leave the house without winged eyeliner. My theory is that the curve in the liner makes your eyes look more open and thus, less tired. Lol.

  15. Jennifer Bowman Lauer says:

The one thing I always keep in my house now is Yes to Carrots Body Butter. My skin is very sensitive to body lotions and this one is by far the best in terms of hydrating my skin without being overly greasy for too long. Its slightly more expensive than some drug store lotions but well worth it.

  16. Christina Gossett says:

My beauty secret would be Olive Oil for soft and shiny hair but the one beauty products I can’t live without would be Burt’s Bees lip balm and L’Oreal facial lotion w/ SPF.

  17. Melissa Bond Davis says:

When I’m in a pinch I use a pinkish lipstick as a gel blush. Its sticks and keeps my cheeks flushed!

    use sunscreen!

  23. Abby Feidner Healy says:

My best tip would be to drink as much water as you can stand. It gives you energy, fills you up so you don’t snack as much and helps to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.

  29. Amanda Sullivan says:

Don’t look in the mirror when you blow out your hair. Use your fingers in the general direction you want it to go then finish with a round brush! I thought the person who told me this was nuts but my hair comes out so much better when I am not looking!

  30. Armywifemom says:

Im a big fan of the hair moisturizer/hydrator. Its not the same as conditioner at all, and when you use it 3 times a week or so, you will definately see the difference. I dont even buy conditioner anymore.

Even if I don’t feel like putting on makeup I always put a little mineral powder on my face.

  34. Anonymous says:

The best beauty tip I have is to nap as often as you can….sleep does wonders for forehead wrinkles!

  35. Melissa Esplin says:

Mineral make-up has been my favorite ever since my sis introduced it to me. I use Bare Essentuals primer + some over all powder if I’m in a hurry, but want to look a bit more put together.

ALSO, E.L.F.’s mineral make-up is the SHIZZ. It’s like a fourth of the price of Bare Essentuals, works beautifully & the branding & packaging is gorgeous.

  36. Squeegee Beckenheimer says:

Use eyelash curlers – gives your eyes a wonderful wide awake doe eyed look without mascara and only takes a few seconds.

~ Thanks for your wonderful post~! I love all articles about Eyelashes, mascara, and eyes as I have really straight lashes and when properly curled makes my eyes look Hugh.

I am hooked on curlers and the best eyelash curler I have ever found is the Hot Lashes eyelash curler, makeup Artist kit.

I read the reviews on Amazon and was impressed. They also have a site of the same name Hot Lashes. My friends and family love this curler..Exactly like the Shu Uemura curler with a 24k gold plated curler and this small heater base. Keeps my lashes curling till the next day. hth~

Just boil water, wait a minute then add dried lavender and fresh rose petals. Cool, then add to a spritzer bottle with 5 drops lavender essential oil and 4 drops tuberose essential oil. It won’t break you out, just leave your skin refreshed, healthy and smelling so nice!

Make sure that no matter how tired you are at night that you remove all of your makeup and wash your face and apply a moisturizer. It only takes a couple of minutes but nothing is worse then waking up in the morning with puffy eyes and blotchy skin!
