The Idea Room | Amy Huntley
- #6 Best DIY
The What’s What: In a little under a year, this adorable site has managed to give us hundreds of ideas on how to make our houses more like homes. Whether you’re looking for the perfect sweet treat (we love these candy cane lollipops), or a way to turn that vintage picture frame into something completely unique, crafty mom Amy comes to your rescue! You can even buy some of her most popular crafts (like felt finger puppets) by clicking the “shop” tab on the website.
The Mama: The Idea Room started out as a family blog, where stay-at-home mom of five and former science teacher Amy Huntley would write about her kids and husband. When she realized she was putting up more ideas than family stories, she decided to take her talents and put them towards a DIY blog! When she’s not blogging, she’s outside with her family: camping, hiking, and even running when she gets a free moment.
