Making Lemonade | Carrie
- #10 Best For Moms
The What’s What: When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Or you could always put them in some reusable produce bags that you made using the fun tutorials on this site. Such is the lesson we learn when we read this family blog, filled with easy DIY projects (like these peppermint pinwheel cookies) and heartwarming stories (just try not to cry when reading Abby’s birth story).
The Mama: Live a lovely life, for less! So goes the motto of Making Lemonade’s Carrie, a married mom of two who uses her thrifty genius to make her way through the world. She is also the founder of the Team Abby Foundation, a charity looking to provide help and care packages to families facing extended stays in the Intensive Care Nursery at Philadelphia’s Jefferson Hospital.
