Not sure how ana-white.com (formerly knock off wood) could be left off a list of the best diy blogs. Her blog has encouraged’ empowered & inspired many moms to diy beautiful furniture. One look at her site and/or fb fan page should clue you in. Check it out!
I agree with CathyaWfan. How could Ana White be left off the list? She’s the reason I’m not intimidated by compound mitre saws. If you haven’t tried one of her DIY plans do so today. She’s amazing. The plans are totally approachable and inspiring http://ana-white.com/
I’m with the Ana White fans. Not only do her projects save us money, they can be custom designed and they are so easy to follow. Ana has given me a huge amount of confidence. I’ve stopped asking my husband to do the DIY around the house and I’m now doing it for myself. Ana White believes in me and I believe in her.
I agree with CathyAWfan, Ana-white.com is one of the best Craft Mom Blogs out there… Not to belittle anyone on the list, but you should definitely make room for this one.
None of these! Ana White is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I don’t even know any of the others because the only person who I turn to for crafty blogs every time is Ana. She’s the best…
Why isn’t Ana White’s blog here? Seriously – how can you have overlooked the tremendous talent she shares?!
In just a few weeks time, I have made two benches, a coffee table, step stool, wall shelf, and am now in the middle of building a huge armoire ALL THANKS to Ana White. Great job to all the other women that made the list, but I am empowered by my Ana.
Oh, forgot to mention I just finished my little girl’s storage bed with custom headboard. Again, an Ana White plan. Thank you, thank you, thank you Ana. You inspire so many people. Me and my garage have become quite intimate since meeting you.
I’m with everyone else here. No offense to any of the talented and crafty people who made the list, you obviously made it for a reason. But truth is, I’ve never come across any of them.
I’m proud to say I’ve been “following” Ana White (formerly knockoffwood) for over a year, and her’s is the only blog I check everyday, the only one I talk about to my family and friends, and the only one I’ve done projects from.
She has given me a new skill, hobby, and confidence in myself I’ve never had before (and made my husband and dad super excited to buy me power tools). I can’t thank her enough for everything she’s given me.
Oh yea, I’ve build 2 tables, 2 adirondack chairs, 1 chair for front porch, a daybed for front porch, a storage bench, and several shelves from her plans, and even designed and built a floating entertainment center for my wall mounted tv!
I could have (and would have) never done any of this without her!
Thank you Ana!!!
I totally agree. Ana White is such an inspiration!
Why didnt Knock off wood get on this list? She has over 30k followers. She is obviously doing something great. I dont even know any of these blogs.
oh and btw because of Ana I now have classy furniture and I am not broke because of it since I make it.
How can you pick? When all these people do their best with what they do.I can’t craft like they do but they try make simple & easy & use their time; make easy for everyone,Thank you all& please keep up great work.Cookie in Va.
