The Boy Scouts of America are on a quest. This boyhood institution apparently wants to reinvigorate their brand and launch a new eye catching ad campaign. And they succeeded.
Their new ads aren’t just eye catching, they’re a wee bit shocking and one thing for sure, they certainly get your attention.
The new set of print ads – created by Ogilvy & Mather – feature young boys with long, lush, bushy, full-grown beards. We’re talking beards that would make the Amish filled with envy. The tag line for the ads? “Be one with the wild.”
The Boy Scouts of America website says they are encouraging boys to go “diving into the rugged world of outdoor adventure, relying on teamwork and character to accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible.” Like growing a full beard at the age of 12?
