Botox Mom Pretended to Inject Daughter for Just $200? The Sun Says She is Lying

Botox Mom

This whole Botox Mom thing is getting mighty confusing.  It all started simply enough, a San Francisco mom just injecting her 8-year-old daughter with Botox in a quest to get rid of those pesky wrinkles. After appearing on Good Morning America and proudly discussing the unusual beauty regime for her pageant-going daughter, Botox Mom aka Kerry Campbell aka Sheena Upton really felt the heat. And it was turned on so high that she has drastically changed her tune, especially after her daughter was taken from her custody.

The Botox Mom whose real name is Sheena Upton -  is now saying that the British tabloid The Sun had asked her to “play the role of Kerry Campbell” for a story called “I Give My 8-Year-Old Daughter Botox.” She is claiming that they paid her $200 and that she was, “provided with the story, instructions and a script to follow for a recorded interview.” Then she was offered even more money to appear on Good Morning America and Inside Edition after the story ran, and she went on both and told her “story” to the nation.

She is now claiming in an official declaration signed under penalty of perjury  that, “the truth is I have never given my daughter Botox, nor allowed her to get any type of waxing, nor is she a beauty pageant contestant.” She wrote this declaration in order to regain custody of her child.

But in doing this, she is upsetting the news media companies she told her story to in the first place. ABC who airs Good Morning America is investigating, since they did research on the story before they had her on as a guest and believe the Botox claim to be true. And the reporter who first interviewed her said that the Botox mom tried to extort money from her and she claims the sum she paid her initially was $800. And that reporter didn’t even work for the Sun but for a “reputable UK news agency.” The Sun said that it is upset and “strongly denies any suggestion it solicited or knowingly published a false story regarding Kerry Campbell and her daughter.” They are even considering legal action.

Do you think Botox mom is changing her tune just to get her daughter back or did she really inject her daughter?
