There’s no doubt the so-called Botox mom is full of something, but as it turns out, it might not be needles filled with wrinkle-smoothing injectables.
A new story alleges that Kerry Campbell might have stretched the truth about giving her 8-year-old daughter Botox because she was desperate for publicity. And by stretched the truth, she lied.
Campbell recently made news — big time — after going on TV to own up to giving her daughter Britney the liquid magic so she’d have an edge in beauty competitions. So disturbing was her story that Child Protective Services took her daughter from her and launched an investigation.
Now RadarOnline.com is reporting a new twist in the story of the stage mom from hell.
“It’s beginning to look like Kerry’s claims about giving her daughter Botox injections looks like a hoax, and that Kerry is making the entire thing up for publicity. Kerry is obsessed with reality television, and wants to become famous. Child Protective Services are conducting an investigation about the Botox claims, and at this point, there is absolutely no evidence that Kerry injected Britney with Botox,” a source told the website.
Britney was removed from her mom’s house over the weekend by social workers, who have been unable to prove that she has ever actually participated in any beauty pageant ever. She’s now staying with relatives.
RadarOnline.com also discovered there’s a possibility that Kerry doesn’t live in San Francisco, as she’s previously stated, but that she actually resides in Southern California, where she might have another name and another daughter.
I can see why so many daytime soap operas have been canceled lately. Who needs fiction when the drama in real life is this good? (Good, unless you’re Kerry Campbell’s daughter, of course. Then it’s tragically sad.)
What are the chances that poor Britney won’t be monumentally screwed up if it turns out her mom is lying? What if she isn’t?
