Britax Recalls 17,000 Car Seats!

Recalled Britax Chaperone Infant Seat
Britax, one of the Nations most popular car seat manufactures has been recalled. The recall involves 17,251 car seats that were built between built between April 11, 2009, and May 31, 2010.
The concern sparking the recall is an incorrectly produced chest clip on the Chaperone model car seats according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The defective chest clip has the possibility of being too brittle, and may break when used properly in the infant seats. The broken clip could cause serious injury in the case of an accident, and even cut or stab the infant with the sharp, broken plastic edges.
The models that are being recalled include :
- E9L69N9 (Moonstone)
- E9L69P2 (Red Mill)
- E9L69P3 (Savannah)
- E9L69P5 (Cowmooflage)
If you are a Britax owner, and have registered your car seat with the company, they will automatically be mailing out a replacement clip around the 11th of November. If you have not registered your Britax car seat with the company, you can contact them directly at 888-427-4829 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration hot line at 888-327-4236.

Appears to only affect the pictured model, “Chaperone.”
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
