Bullied Children Think More about Suicide. And So Do Bullies. (VIDEO)


It probably doesn’t shock you to hear that bullied children think about suicide more than children who aren’t bullied. But what about the children doing the bullying?  These children too, suffer a pain that causes these destructive thoughts of suicide.

New research finds that bullies AND their victims are three times more likely to have these horrible thoughts by the time they are 11 years old.  ELEVEN.  And these are kids who are not only THINKING about suicide, but who have potentially harmed themselves already.  I don’t know about you, but eleven is just around the corner in my house.

There was a time when we considered these ‘teen’ issues.  But not anymore. These are family issues.  Kid issues.  Parenting issues. What are you doing in your house to make sure bullying and suicide aren’t YOUR problem, your heartache? I truly do not want them to be mine.
