Busy Parent Briefing: Amanda Knox Appeal Resumes; Police Defend DNA Evidence

Amanda Knox appeal is under way; Italian police defend evidence.

Amanda Knox’s appeal resumed in Perugia today. The 24-year old Seattle, Washington native is accused of  the 2007 murder of her flatmate Meredith Kercher in Italy. For years Amanda Knox’s family here in the U.S. have believed they will some day bring her home innocent.  An update from BBC states that Italian police defend in court the evidence used to convict her.

Knox is serving a 26-year sentence and continues to deny any involvement. It is a case that has stumped everyone and no one knows who to believe. Amanda’s DNA was found on a kitchen knife that  is believed to be the murder weapon. What happened to Meredith Kercher? Will we ever know?
