Busy Parent Briefing: Casey Anthony Will Get a Little More Prison Time…But Not MuchSunny Chanel
For those wishing in their hearts and minds that Casey Anthony would get more jail time, well their hopes are coming true, kind of.
The notorious mom who was declared not guilty in a court of law but far from innocent in the public’s view, will be in prison for a little longer. And when we say little, we mean it. She will be spending just four more nights behind bars.
It had been reported that Casey Anthony would be released on Wednesday, July 13th, but now she will be released instead on Sunday, July 17th. There is no word why her release date was changed but that the correction officials had “conducted a detailed recalculation of the projected release date.”
The judge had sentenced Casey Anthony to four years in prison (the maximum) for “four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to police.” Casey received credit for the three years she already had served, and with good behavior she is being released early – a move that has upset countless trial watchers everywhere.
But releasing her on a Sunday? That just means more people will flock to hurl hateful looks (and hopefully not harder, more dangerous items) at Anthony as she is being released.
Do you think they should keep her behind bars even longer, just for her own safety?
