Casey Anthony Plans Baptism So She Can See Caylee in HeavenMonica Bielanko
She is arguably the most hated mother in America… And now she’s found God.
She’s just happy, really happy. Those are words attributed to Casey Anthony, mother of Caylee Anthony, the 2-year-old who was found dead near her home in 2008.
Last year, in a verdict that shocked the world, Anthony was found not-guilty of the toddler’s murder.
Since that verdict, Casey Anthony, now 26, has kept a low profile out of fear for her safety, reportedly living in a secret location in Florida and seeking council from a pastor.
The only glimpse into Casey’s life was a few videos leaked online featuring a happy Casey sporting a nose ring and a new puppy.
“I’m just really starting to feel good about a lot of things. It’s about time,” Casey said in one clip. “I’m really starting to like the way things are going and where they’re are going.
“I’m just happy. I’m really happy.”
Happy because she’s found God? Perhaps. According to Radar Online, Anthony is getting baptized.
According to an insider, who spoke exclusively to the gossip site, Anthony wanted to do something to signify a new beginning in her life.
“Casey has planned to get baptized sometime this month,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
“She figured getting baptized would be the best way start this new chapter in her life. It’s a new beginning…Casey believes that Caylee is with God now and wants to ensure her own salvation so that she’ll see her daughter again someday,” the source said.
What do you think? Is the baptism for real or just another ploy by Anthony to appear sympathetic.
Okay, now listen. I know most of you think Anthony is the devil but let me play devil’s advocate, if you will. Anthony didn’t maliciously murder her daughter. Yes, she’s a mentally ill sociopath but her life has been ruined so what does she have left? Nothing.
If she did kill her daughter through negligence and then hid the body it will haunt her forever and so the only solace she has is turning to God, right? I’m thinking the baptism is for real. And by for real, I mean that Anthony believes she has sincerely found God and isn’t pulling some publicity stunt. But I could be wrong. What do you think? Has Anthony legitimately found God or is this just a big, ol’ publicity stunt?
