Couch Cushion Architecture

Couch fortNext time your kids are tearing the furniture apart in their quest for world domination, pause a moment to appreciate their work before you scold them into cleaning it up.

The architectural team at Build Blog takes a look at the fine art of couch forts. Warning: don’t read their critique while sipping your coffee, unless you want to be cleaning your computer screen.

Comparing the kids’ cushion construction to Frank Lloyd Wright and the ancient Mayans, these guys grade even toddlers creations with a critical eye. They’d best watch out, lest the kids turn the tables and start critiquing them. They don’t want to end up like that guy from Tiny Art Director.

Are your kids making masterpieces in your living room, or just messes? Remember, pics or it didn’t happen.
