Crooner-In-Chief? President Obama Sings Al Green Classic

Who knew our illustrious leader was hiding a sultry singing voice?

At a fundraiser held at Harlem’s Apollo Theater last night, President Obama let the crowd in on his secret talent. He softly serenaded supporters with a line from the Al Green classic “Let’s Stay Together.”

Obama then addressed Green, who was sitting in the audience, and said  “Don’t worry Rev, I cannot sing like you, but I just wanted to show my appreciation.” Green, who performed earlier in the evening, commended the commander-in-chief on his brief performance.

Tickets to watch Obama live reportedly ranged from $100 to $25,000, but thanks to the digital age in which we live you can watch a clip of his performance here for free:
