Disney Infinity: A Monster Addition

Monsters U Disney Infinity Pack

As if the launch of Disney Infinity weren’t already exciting enough, Disney Interactive recently announced the inclusion of the Monsters University play set as part of the Disney Infinity starter pack during this summer’s release.

In the Monsters University play set, gamers can take the role of Mike, Sully, or Randy as they compete against their rivals, Fear Tech. The rival universities are locked in an epic battle to see who has the most school spirit during Fear-It Week. Players prank their opponents and try to perfect the art of sneak attacks. Students in the world can be customized with wings, fangs, spike, tails and other accessories.

The Monsters University play set adds its own specialized gadgetry, like a toilet paper launcher, to the Disney Infinity world. They all can be accessed in Toy Box mode which allows players to create all new challenges as well as build and customize worlds.

Toy Box mode is that special Disney Infinity feature allowing Mike, Sulley and Randy to interact with the previously revealed Disney Infinity characters from The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cars. To get a gameplay sneak peek, check out this video:
