I’ve enjoyed every single show that I’ve been to, and I love that my kids can get to see Mickey and all his friends outside of Disneyland.
This year, there are five shows that are slated to skate its way into a city near you.
- Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic
- Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After
- Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove
- Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream
- Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy
All of the shows are great for both boys and girls, but one, in my opinion, is perfect for your little princess. Take a look at the following shows.

Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove 1 of 5Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove is set to skate into our hearts with music and dance from popular stories by Disney. In this show, you'll be able to see the classic love stories of Tangled, Snow White, The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. Also making appearances in Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove is The Lion King, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. With all these characters on one ice rink, I'm sure this will make the best night ever of any boy or girl.
Disney On Ice presents 100 Years of Magic 2 of 5Disney On Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic looks like it will be great for the whole family. You will experience the full assemble of Disney's best. Sing along with Woody and Buzz, Aladdin and Genie, Pumbaa and Timon along with our friends from Finding Nemo, The Lion King, The Incredibles, Toy Story and so much more! Some of our favorite princesses will also be there. Belle, Mulan, Cinderella and Ariel tell their story with song and dance. We also get to see some rare sighting of Pinocchio, Stitch and Pocahontas. Oh, how wish this show would come to the west coast. I would be, I mean, my kids would be so excited. I can see both my daughter and my son enjoying this show.
Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy 3 of 5Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy was one of the first Disney On Ice shows that I saw with my family. This, by far, is the best show for both boys and girls. You have an even mixture of characters like Disney Pixar's Cars Lightning McQueen and Mater, the lovable toys from Toy Story, the lovely grace of Tinker Bell and all the fairies and you end the night with the popular story of The Little Mermaid. There's something to see for everyone.
Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream 4 of 5Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream features the classic tales of Disney's most popular princesses. We recently saw this show a couple of months ago and I left the arena impressed with the choreography and musical numbers that we performed. We started off the show with the story of Tiana and Prince Naveen and the story behind The Princess and the Frog. Cinderella also makes an appearance with her love story and the quirky stunts from her step-sisters. Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream closes off the show with the story of Tangled. It's the first time Rapunzel and the cast of Tangled make their debut on Disney On Ice. This is a beautiful show with one of the best love scenes with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder and the floating lights. It's a beautiful sight with these two sweethearts flying through the air, amidst the floating lanterns. Love, love, love this show. This show is definitely the best show to see with little girls. My daughter (who's six) loved it.
Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After 5 of 5According to the Disney On Ice website, Rockin' Ever After is their newest show to it the ice and I am happy to announce that they will finally feature Merida from Brave! She will be joined by Rapunzel, Ariel and Belle. I swear, it's like they spoke to my daughter about who she would like to see on the ice. This show has all her favorite princesses. We can't wait!
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald all make an appearance at the beginning and ending of each show. Do you see the balance in characters when it comes to deciding if it’s right for a boy or girl? All shows are full of action and adventure that will keep any little boy in their seats. On top of that, you have the grace and elegance of the princesses. My daughter likes the shows and my youngest son (no thanks to my teenager) will ask first who’s in the show before saying yes to me. Still, even when he goes, he always has a great time. Which show is your favorite I personally can’t wait to see Rockin’ Ever After.
