Disney Royalty Will Hold Court at Princess Fairytale Hall (PHOTO TOUR + VIDEO)

While we marveled at the newly turreted digs when New Fantasyland debuted in late 2012, Disney Imagineers were already planning the next phase of  Walt Disney World‘s multi-year expansion the largest in Magic Kingdom history that will nearly double the size of Fantasyland.

Set to open later this year, Princess Fairytale Hall will be the ultimate destination to rub gloved elbows with Disney royalty.

Featuring stone walls and stained glass windows, a spacious gallery adorned with portraits of Disney princesses and elegantly finished rooms where guests can meet Aurora, Cinderella, and others, this new meet-and-greet experience will be located in the Castle Courtyard at the very center of Fantasyland, the former location for Snow White’s Scary Adventures.

Take a look at early construction and new concept art:

  • Painting the newly constructed walls to make them look old. Well played, Disney. Well played. 1 of 4

  • Ooo… stained glass. Knowing Disney’s brilliant Imagineers, it’s going to be gorgeous. Let’s just hope there’s enough light for photos! 2 of 4

  • Considering my four-year-old thinks she IS a princess, I’m pretty sure she may never leave here. 3 of 4
