If you’re like me, you didn’t feel much like Cinderella when you were pregnant. More like Dumbo. Maybe if I had the appropriate attire, I would have felt like staying out ’til midnight.
Soon moms-to-be will be able to dress like their favorite knocked-up Disney princess. Well, sort of.
Disney has announced they have teamed with Motherhood to launch a line of maternity clothes.
So far Disney Consumer Products has been hush-hush on the details of the line, but I can only imagine the fun they’ll have dreaming up some Disney themed clothes for moms-to-be.
Are you excited by the prospect of Disney maternity clothes? Which Disney character would you want to display on your baby bump?

You know what I want? I want maternity clothes that aren’t cutesy tootsy to the point where I look like a buffoon at work, that don’t cost an arm and a leg, and pants that freaking fit. I could care less if Disney or anyone else makes them, I just want them…so I can look like a normal human female being at work without hitching at my blasted maternity pants all day long!
Do grown women wear Disney clothes? Don’t we get enough crap from people while we’re pregnant? (Some guy at my office kept joking about my waddle and I wasn’t even waddling, I was still running every day) I wouldn’t wear these if there were free!
Disney is doing maternity, says something about teen age pregnancy in this country. What’s next maternity by Hello Kitty? Oh wait a minute they already have a theme hospital in Japan.
I’m 7 months along now and I would rather hurl myself into a pit of fire than dress up like a godd*mded disney princess. I may however, reconsider, if they come up with a line of disney villain outfits, as I am starting to resemble Ursula the Sea Witch anyway.
Wow.. you guys definately are not Disney fans… I am a huge disney fan and in my late 30′s.. I wear disney clothes all the time.. as Walt said Adults are just grown up kids.
Disney, not Disney, whatever. I just would have liked maternity clothing that didn’t cling to me like a second skin. I mean, yeah yeah, we’re all modern and have to show off the baby bump, but I had twins, and it was summer and I didn’t want my clothing sticking to me and working into uncomfortable crevices. I’d like the looser comfortable 60′s varieties to come back.
The Disney wedding dresses don’t exactly scream Disney, nor did the designer clothes that came out in conjunction with Alice in Wonderland. Hopefully they’ll go in that kind of direction. Still, good quality maternity clothes are too expensive for their short use value, and the affordable kinds are ill fitting and made of cheap scratchy fabric. The whole thing was really frustrating.

I wouldn’t wear Disney maternity either. Disney clothes are for kids, not adults.

I wouldn’t dress my kids in Disney clothes, so I definitely wouldn’t wear them myself.
If I weren’t so frustrated about how clothing (doesn’t) fits right now, I’d say no, most adults don’t wear Disney clothing.
Pregohontas?
Disney?? Really? Because all I need to look gianter is a princess on my belly… Not something I would buy.

Ooooh, I vote for Malificent. I could channel her quite nicely today if requested!!!!
Maybe for Halloween! I love Halloween.

I am ecstatic that they’re making maternity clothes, I LOVE Disney and LOVE the fact that I can wear Disney even though I’m expecting.
