Duggars Expecting 19th Child

michelle-duggar-pregnant-with-19th-babyThe mega-Duggar family is set to get even bigger. Michelle Duggar announced on the Today Show this morning that she’s pregnant with their 19th child.

Michelle Duggar, who soon turns 43, told host Meredith Viera that she’s about three months along.

Only eight months ago she gave birth to their eighth daughter and 18th child, Jordyn-Grace. She told Viera she was surprised to learn of this pregnancy. (You’d think she’d catch on, but no judgment! Her body.)

The fecund Arkansas family has become famous for having babies — more babies! — so who can blame them for squeezing in one more before Michelle’s body shuts ‘er down for good.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are also awaiting the birth of their first grandchild in mid-October. Their eldest son, Josh and his wife, Anna, are carrying on the family tradition of making babies, but they will break from the “J” name obsession — Duggar children, so far, have names that start with “J” — and christen the baby Mackynzie Renee.

Rebels!

UPDATE: The Duggars need help with this J-baby. They’re taking suggestions!

Now for some fun stats from the Today Show website:

Michelle has now been pregnant 147 months of her life, with five more to go. That’s 12-plus years and counting.

For those who are counting, the Duggars report that they have changed an estimated 90,000 diapers and do approximately 200 loads of laundry a month. They feed their entire family on less than $2,000 a month and say that they live debt-free.

Jim Bob Duggar has one sibling and Michelle is the youngest of seven.

What do you think about the Duggars and their overflowing “quiverfull”? Sickos, bumpoholics or national treasure?
