Are you ready for the weekend? Disney Channel sure is! This week was an amazing week for the one and only Mickey Mouse! Mickey debuted in a brand new gaming app called Where’s My Mickey?, and this weekend, he will also be the star of 2 shorts! These contemporary shorts are different from the shorts that we’ve seen in any Disney Pixar movie. They all feature Mickey Mouse and the themes are set to bring back the nostalgia of the Mickey we all grew up with.
Croissant de Triomphe is entirely in French! I love the fact that more audiences will be able to partake in the Disney magic that only Mickey Mouse and his friends can bring to their homes. Future shorts are slated to be released in several other languages. (I personally can’t wait for the Spanish language one.)
This FRIDAY, JUNE 28 SUNDAY, JUNE 30 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. No Service will finally be presented to the whole world. I actually got a chance to see it a little over a week ago, and let me tell you, this is one short that you simply can’t miss! As the executive producers and animators explained, the reason behind the awesome comeback of Mickey and his friends was so that we can all remember and embrace the iconic mouse. Kids from this generation will be able to experience the sometimes naughty mouse that we all grew up with … for the first time. Naturally, Mickey Mouse is the hero in all the shorts and Donald is as moody as when we first met him many, many years ago! And Goofy is, well … goofy!
In “No Service”, Mickey and Donald are as adorable as ever and Minnie and Daisy are lucky to be courted by such dapper boys. The short takes place at the beach and of course, Mickey and Donald get into some crazy antics while waiting for some food, prepared by Goofy!

Also making Disney Channel history this weekend from FRIDAY, JUNE 28 SUNDAY, JUNE 30 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) is the brand new short “Yodelberg”. See, this week is huge for the mouse who started it all, Mickey Mouse! Yodelberg is about Mickey, who longs to visit Minnie atop her mountaintop chalet but quickly realizes that the threat of avalanche has made the trek up the mountain more challenging than usual.
Both shorts are family friendly. Mickey is charming as ever, Donald and Goofy are hilarious and Minnie and Daisy are fashion icons that do not disappoint.
