Got Stretch Marks? Send Us Photos of Your ‘Tiger Stripes!’

By Meredith Carroll |

Stretch marks

Let's see 'em!

Maybe they’re on your belly. Maybe they’re on your boobs. Maybe they’re on your butt. Maybe they’re on your legs. Maybe you don’t have any, but your husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/partner does. Maybe you have them from a pregnancy. Maybe you have them and you’ve never been pregnant at all.

If you have stretch marks, let’s see them, and share them with each other. As a recent photo that’s been circulating online suggests, we’ve earned our stripes, so there’s no need to be ashamed, right? We agree, and we want to feature yours right here on Babble. A tiger can’t change her stripes so she might as well wear them with pride.

Click here to learn how to send in a picture of your stretch marks, and check out a photo we already received of one real woman’s stripes:

Email a photo of your stretch marks to and we’ll feature as many as we can in an upcoming post. You don’t need to include your face in the picture, but you’re certainly welcome to do so.

Come on — let’s roar together!

Show us your stripes with pride!

Thanks for this post. I’m 13 weeks and terrified to be “ruined” by stretch marks and flabby skin. You’ve given me a whole new outlook.

I don’t know about this new ‘celebrate your flaws, send pix” thing…morning faces, make-up free faces, post-pregnancy bellies and now stretch-marks. I’ll be over here in full make-up and figure flattering clothes, thanks.
