Grandma Finds the Internet

For my inaugural post here on MomCrunch, Babble’s blog about blogging and the web, I thought I’d honor teh internetz the best way I know how: by sharing a hilarious meme with you. “Grandma Finds the Internet” is one of the best on QuickMeme; anyone who’s ever tried to help their mom or grandma use the web will lurve it. “Grandma” could just as easily be Grandpa, tho, because when my dad was still alive he used to call the Internet “the dubya dubya.”

“Kid, I need you to look somethin’ up for me on the dubya dubya,” he’d say. My mom, on the other hand, is pretty proficient on the web. For example, I know she’ll see this post, thanks to Facebook. Every time I share a link, she comments, sometimes signing, “Love, Mom.” Hint: It’s not an email. But please, Mom, don’t ever change. The world (wide web) needs grandmas like you, and these ladies, keepin’ it real:
