Happy Chanukah from Electric Menorah

466px-dreidel_001Chanukah begins tonight (or began tonight, depending on what time you are reading this) and we couldn’t let it go without giving you a little something.

So here you go!

Here is Chanucore, from the great Jewish punk band Electric Menorah. It’s even safe for kids, although it is a little sloppy and loud. Then again, so are some kids. So it probably works.

You can listen to the full EP right here on this page. Or go to Last.FM for free downloads of all three songs:

  1. Dreidel (“I have a little dreidel, I made it out of clay…”)
  2. Menorah (“O Chanukah, O Chanukah, come light the menorah…”)
  3. Oh Chanuqa Bush (sung to the tune of “O Tannenbaum”)

Enjoy with a latke. Or four.

Happy Chanukah!
