Have You Seen the Latest Surprise from the Disney Archives?

This year’s D23 Disney Fanniversary Celebration, commemorating many of the Disney milestones celebrating anniversaries this year, will feature rarely or never-before-seen film footage, concept art, photography, and exclusive interviews with many of your favorite Disney Legends and luminaries. Included in the collection is a newly found 1938 sketch from a never-produced short entitled, “Mickey’s Toothache.” The sketch features Mickey’s archnemesis, Pete, posing as a dentist and holding some very large tools while chasing Mickey in tandem with a very menacing looking dentist’s chair.

This and other fascinating items from the Disney archives will be presented by a Disney archivist and a D23 team member at special events in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Newark, Orlando, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. between March 1 and April 7, 2013. For more information, and to find out about event locations, dates and tickets, go to the D23 official page here.
