Will Girl Scout cookies decide the election?

Politicians talk about a lot of things. Girl Scout cookies should not be among them.

President Obama learned that the hard way at a campaign stop recently. A little girl asked him if he had a favorite Girl Scout cookie, and of course he said Thin Mints. Thin Mints are just so trite.

Needless to say, it was the wrong answer. Which anyone with a brain and some real taste could have told him. Seriously. If there is a mint option and a peanut butter and chocolate option, the latter is always better — regardless if the former is frozen or available by the sleeve-ful. The president knows that now. But it’s too late. Hence, the boos his answer received.
