Earlier today I was thinking about how different this presidential election is for me this year than it’s been other years; normally it’s all television coverage for me, even as recently as 2008, although social media played a role then too. But I watched two of the debates this year in crowds of social media friends (in person! gasp!), and tonight I’m planning to join some of my best women friends across the country via Google+ Hangout to chat and watch the results come in together.
So I thought it would be fun to ask everyone how they are watching the result this year (asked on Twitter, naturally). Here’s what folks said!
@cecilyk Kids are watching Spongebob – can’t handle the talking heads.Following it on Huffington Post (my state’s not up for grabs – IL).

@cecilyk I’m watching tv and following it online. It’s stressful.

@cecilyk I’m trying to do both, but I see I may have to give up the television coverage.

@cecilyk I’m doing radio and iPad (but we don’t have a tv, so I don’t really have a choice).

@cecilyk I’ve got both, though Twitter is telling me things before the TV does.

@cecilyk I’m watching my interactive map turn red and blue. TV would wake the baby.

@cecilyk *raises hand* Following along on Twitter with a side of NPR and CNN. Streaming West Wing reruns on Amazon Prime to calm my nerves!
