Katie Couric to Devote an Entire Show to Mothers and Daughters

Katie Couric

Mother, journalist, talk-show host

There’s a reason Katie Couric has dominated TV news for the better part of the last few decades: She’s kind of just like us.

She’s a tad quirky and goofy, undeniably whip-smart, compassionate and driven, and (this is where the “just like us” part comes in) a mom.

Katie has made no secret of the fact that her daughters by late husband Jay Monahan are the loves of her life, and whenever she reports on stories affecting women, moms and children, she has an extraordinary way of reaching through the TV screen and affecting those who trust her implicitly by telling the stories that most resonate.

On her new eponymous talk show, Katie will be devoting an entire hour to mothers and daughters. The Tuesday, February 19, edition of “Katie” will feature an audience filled entirely with mothers and daughters (age 16 and up) — perhaps including a few famous mother/daughter duos.

If you’d like to be part of the mother/daughter audience, visit katiecouric.com/tickets and mention the special relationship with your mom or daughter (and mention Babble to have your request expedited).
