Kermit, Miss Piggy Respond to Fox News Criticisms (Video)

Kermit and Miss Piggy have responded to Fox News’ concerns that the new Muppets movie is “dangerous” and an example of “liberal Hollywood using class warfare to brainwash our kids.”

At a press conference following the UK premiere of The Muppets, the always-candid Kermit the Frog responded to criticisms from Follow the Money’s Eric Bolling with sarcasm. I’m pretty sure if Kermit had movable eyes, he would have been rolling them, too.

“Oh, it’s so dangerous,” the frog quipped.

The Muppets features Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the cloth puppet gang trying to raise money to save their theater from Tex Richman, a (human) businessman who plans to demolish the theater to drill for oil. In December, a Fox Business segment accused The Muppets of “brainwashing kids against capitalism.”

“It’s almost as laughable as accusing Fox News of being news,” Miss Piggy said.

When Kermit expressed concerns that Miss Piggy’s comments would go viral on the Internet, the porcine puppet responded, “If they take what I say seriously, they’ve got a real big problem.”
